Toad in the Hole
Released in May 2021 for Ludum Dare 48.

A game about an ordinary frog, a cave and a newt.
A game made in 72 hours with my fiance Sam.
WASD or Arrow Keys to Move, E to Talk/ Croak, Space to Jump!
Also supports controller.

Personal Thoughts:
Made one weekend as a break from working on Zool RD, this was the first time me and my (now spouse) Sam had ever collaborated on a game. Because we had such tight time constraints in the game jam, we didn't get to flesh out the gameplay as much as possible. However, I think the dialogue really shines and the game has a lot of personality.
It was the first time I'd attempted to implement a dialogue system as well as my first time ever working in Godot which I now use for all my game jam projects. I'm proud of both of these things and I look forward to the next time me and Sam make a game together. It was also a great excuse to practice my pixel art.
